Are you wondering if having an online MLM business is possible? If so, the answer is YES! In the 80's and 90's approaching your warm market and creating a warm market list to use for prospecting was fine. In today's society and the information age that we all live in now, it's all about online marketing or internet marketing.

Many online mlm companies have proven themselves successful and it is actually much easier to do network marketing online than offline for most people.

I'm sure many of us remember when we attended our very first MLM opportunity meeting. Remember that feeling we got when we finally realized we can possibly achieve our dreams and goals. And how we thought EVERYONE ELSE is going to want it as well? ☺

All we had to do was make a long list of EVERYONE you know, contact them and follow the game plan. Some of us bought numerous piquing materials to give them to who ever we came in contact with. We were told to use the "3 foot rule" if you have to. If they show the slightest bit of interest, connect them to your upline.

And while these methods may be ok but picture the following; If we lived in NY and have a common goal to travel to California, would you agree to walk, drive, or fly?

Uh-duh!

Eventually, we will all get to California, BUT, which method would you prefer? If a better option is available why not choose it.

If we choose to walk I'm VERY sure we would be discouraged BEFORE we even got out of the city. If we drive we have a better chance at getting there at a better time, but we will have to take several pit-stops along the way. If we fly, we will be there in "no time."

So here's my simple take on the difference between walking, driving or flying. =)

If we make a warm market list of everyone we know, and approach them on foot or phone, it would be like walking to California.

Most of us will be discouraged before we even get to our first earned position in the company. We then eventually think something is wrong with us and we will be buying motivational Cd's and self-help books - which in my opinion is always good, but JUST MAYBE we need to change the METHOD we are using!

Online Marketing for MLM (or having more than one online mlm business) is like driving (I'll talk about flying later).

It's fine to still approach your warm market (be open to all channels) but marketing online will increase your POTENTIAL prospects drastically.

Why?

Compare 1,000,000,000 world wide internet users to your list of 50-100 friends.

It will be easier to get to the first earned position and make a few bonus checks but you will make a few pit stops along the way. You'll feel the need to re-motivate yourself every now and then.

If we could personally fill every single chair in the picture above with OUR prospects, life would be great!

Unfortunately, most may have 2 or 3 in the crowd if we're lucky.
