Social Media Recruiting with Facebook, Twitter, Etc
When looking at social media recruiting with Facebook, especially, there are some amazing things you can do that make your recruiting efforts much more successful. 
Social media is taking the internet marketing world by storm, and especially facebook...Do you know how HIGHLY targetable Facebooks ads are?...You can set it to target a specific age group, location, interests, etc... And because of the way people use facebook to socialize, a well written ad can soon go viral after only a few likes. With over 500 million users, Facebook is the biggest social media platform to use for marketing right now.
I personally like to use places like Twitter, Digg, Delicious etc for my business marketing as I am TOTALLY hooked on Facebook simply for socializing with my friends and I don't like mixing my internet marketing with my friends and family life.
But the truth of the matter is that with the way Facebook is set up now with the lists and subscriptions, with social media recruiting you can actually do some very targeted recruiting for your business without your friends even knowing about it.
But even if you don't use the ad platform on facebook to do recruiting, just the social media aspect of it is huge. You can set up pages or simply like other pages and comment on them to recruit people. With so many folks looking for a way to make some extra money these days, it is fairly easy to at least get some lookers to come see what you are offering, if you remember to stay social with your marketing, and don't come across as a hard salesman! Nobody likes to be sold to.
Don't Forget About the SOCIAL Part!
When doing ANY kind of marketing on social media networks, remember it's all about SOCIAL marketing. Keep it friendly and do just as many NON marketing tweets and posts as you do marketing, which will increase your subscriber list. Tweeting and social bookmarking can be VERY time consuming so I like to use SocialMaximizer which can bookmark your page or site to hundreds of sites with a few minutes of your time, for literally pennies. Or you can also use something like Hootesuite or Social ADR Bookmarking which are free to use. With recruiting with facebook though, it is better to just set up an ad.
